When the case arose, James Hardie denied any wrongdoing, but it later transpired that the firm was guilty of dumping hazardous waste next to what was essentially a children's playground. Mr. Lowe was eventually compensated $2 million AUD. After a long court battle, Mr. Lowe can now concentrate on staying as health as possible.
